Our Team

Matt Hays

Matt is our licensed Tennessean builder & land developer, the leader and founder of the company, and prefers being hands-on and in the field. His expertise is vital months before even breaking ground. Matt enjoys working on his Blazer in his spare time, but that is not too often!

Justin Carroll

Justin is our exterior operations. His upbeat personality and get-the-job-done attitude fit in perfectly with the Legacy way. Justin's main responsibilities are Grading, Exterior Maintenance, Landscaping, and Machine Operating. Justin also enjoys hunting the skies with his dog Bear and grilling duck poppers.

Tara Hays

Tara is the owner of NG Designs & operates as our in-house designer, helping clients choose each aspect of their home. She also walks thru each home weekly starting with framing and is very involved making sure issues are caught up front. Tara also manages our social media for fun. Her favorite things are throw pillows, the beach, and her kiddos.

Dakota Glenn

Dakota is our office manager & design assistant. She efficiently manages the office, is our marketing extraordinaire, and assists in the design field as well! She has built and designed her own home so she knows first hand what it takes! She holds a marketing & corporate communications degree from Belmont University. Dakota enjoys shopping, her dog Sadie, & spending quality time with family & friends.

Ben Hays

Ben is our project manager and is our main guy with boots on the ground coordinating with subcontractors and making sure building supplies are delivered on schedule. When he isn’t working, Ben enjoys hitting the gym and exploring new culinary adventures.

Anthony Seno

Seno joined our crew at just the perfect time. When he isn’t at UT Chattanooga, you can find him on a job site staying busy. We appreciate his positive attitude, attention to detail, and volunteer spirit. He hopes to be an entrepreneur owning his own business one day, either a pizza shop or remodeling homes. Until then, he remains a local favorite, has all the best Winchester recommendations, has the best color hair, and invests in lululemon.
